Pet Furniture for Minecraft Bedrock

Pet Furniture is a free Minecraft Bedrock Edition addon by Trotamundos872 built around one narrow idea: decorating homes, yards, and farms for the animals in them rather than for the player. It adds cat flaps, doghouses, birdcage perches, feeders, a farm barn, and animal beds, most craftable in survival with clay and a stonecutter. It is also distributed as one of three packs inside the same creator's Craftopia Furniture bundle, alongside Feudal Furniture and Modern Furniture; the creator states installing the three separately or as the combined pack makes no gameplay difference.

What Pet Furniture adds

• Cat flaps: 5 sizes, each in white or gray
• Cat enclosures: modular pieces (about 12 modules, 2 colors) for custom builds, plus prefabricated one- or two-floor enclosures
• Doghouses: 2 shapes (elongated and traditional), 8 wood-type variants each
• Aviaries and birdcage perches: 2 styles (large and forest), 8 wood-type variants each
• Feeders: 2 color variants
• Cat doors for wooden buildings, so animals can pass through walls
• Barn: 8 wood-type variants, sized for storing chickens and decorating farms
• Animal beds: 2 color variants for indoor or outdoor use

Most of this furniture is decorative rather than functional. The creator's own notes say only a handful of pieces are interactive right now, mainly the cat and dog doors that animals can walk through, and the chicken and parrot enclosures. The rest, benches, beds, feeders, cat towers, are static blocks for building a scene rather than blocks that change how tamed animals behave.

Getting the furniture in survival and creative

Installing Pet Furniture on Bedrock

An add-on is Mojang's official Bedrock content format: a behavior pack, a resource pack, or both bundled together. It is not a Java mod, so it needs no separate mod loader. Download the file from the creator's own site or its MCPEDL listing, then open it on a phone or tablet so Minecraft imports both packs automatically, or on a console through the console install steps for add-ons. Create or edit a world, open its behavior pack and resource pack lists, and enable Pet Furniture in both. If a pack does not import automatically, its files can be copied by hand into the Bedrock data folder on Windows, at %appdata%\Minecraft Bedrock\users\shared\games\com.mojang, under development_behavior_packs or development_resource_packs.

Compatibility and known limits

The creator states Pet Furniture is compatible with any other add-on because it does not touch player.json, the file that governs player interfaces and mechanics, so it should not conflict with unrelated behavior packs. It targets Bedrock 1.21.51 and later, and the versions currently tagged on its own changelog run from 1.21.111 through the 26.0 quarterly drop, the format Bedrock moved to in 2026. That makes Pet Furniture the least current of the three Craftopia Furniture packs: its siblings Feudal Furniture and the combined Craftopia Furniture pack are both tagged through 26.30. Some pieces may need experimental toggles in a world's settings to work as intended; the creator's own notes warn that enabling the wrong combination of experimental features can make parts of the add-on misbehave.
