Clockwork Nexus, the giant clock-shaped hub area of Creative Co-Operation

Creative Co-Operation is a two-player co-op puzzle map for Minecraft Java 1.21.1. Two players start at a hub called the Clockwork Nexus and work through eight puzzle chambers built around the Create mod, teaming up to solve mechanisms neither player can finish alone before facing the entity known as the Timekeeper.

Installation

  1. 1.Download the Creative Co-Operation modpack (.mrpack) from its Modrinth page.
  2. 2.Download the matching Creative Co-Operation server pack from CurseForge; the creator does not host the server pack on Modrinth.
  3. 3.Unzip the server pack into your server's root directory and set the server.properties level-name to match the extracted world folder.
  4. 4.Open the modpack in the Modrinth App or another mod manager that supports .mrpack files, then connect to the server to begin.

How the co-op puzzles work

Each of the eight chambers tests a different kind of teamwork, from split-information riddles to physical puzzles built with Create mod contraptions like rotating gears, conveyor belts, and mechanical presses. Some puzzles need one player pulling levers while the other reads clues from a separate vantage point, so voice or text chat between the two players is effectively required.

Required mods and multiplayer setup

  • Players: exactly 2, by design
  • Minecraft version: Java Edition 1.21.1
  • Mod loader: NeoForge, bundled in the .mrpack
  • Required mod: Create, plus the map's supporting mods included in the pack
  • Estimated playtime: roughly 6 to 8 hours
  • Puzzle chambers: 8, each containing several individual puzzles
  • Resource pack: none required beyond what ships in the modpack

Known issues

The most common setup mistake is stopping after downloading only the Modrinth modpack. That file is the client side; the world data and server-side puzzle logic live in the separate CurseForge server pack, so both downloads are necessary before the map will run correctly.

Questions about Creative Co-Operation.

5 questions

How do I install Creative Co-Operation?

Download the modpack (.mrpack) from Modrinth and the matching server pack from CurseForge, since the creator cannot host the server pack on Modrinth. Unzip the server pack into your server's root folder, match the level-name in server.properties to the world folder, then open the modpack in the Modrinth App or another compatible mod manager and connect.

How long does Creative Co-Operation take to finish?

The creator estimates roughly 6 to 8 hours across the eight puzzle chambers, depending on how quickly the two players work through each mechanism. Puzzles vary in difficulty, and some rooms lean on communication as much as mechanical skill, so total playtime can run longer for a first attempt.

Does Creative Co-Operation need a resource pack?

No separate resource pack download is required. Any custom textures or assets the map uses ship inside the .mrpack modpack itself, so installing the modpack through the Modrinth App or another compatible mod manager is enough to see everything as intended.

Can I play Creative Co-Operation with more or fewer than 2 players?

No. The map is built strictly for two players, with puzzles that split information and tasks between exactly two people. Playing solo or in a larger group breaks the intended puzzle design, since several chambers require one player performing an action while the other observes a separate part of the room.

Which Minecraft version does Creative Co-Operation support?

Creative Co-Operation targets Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 with the NeoForge mod loader, bundled inside its .mrpack file alongside the Create mod. It has not been ported to other Minecraft versions or to Bedrock Edition.
