Sprint Racer is a combat racing map for Minecraft Java by Fllamingosaurus, the creator behind Mario Kart in Minecraft. It plays solo against AI opponents or with any number of players. The content is free of copyrighted material, and the map has been included on Java Realms.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.16.2 to 26.3.
What is inside
- 50 race tracks and 18 battle arenas.
- 20 unique items, reworked from the earlier Mario Kart map.
- Race and Battle modes, plus extras such as Last-Place Elimination.
- Intelligent AI opponents, so a single player can still fill a grid.
- A custom track editor (not available in the Realms release).
- A lobby with plenty of options, hidden cheat codes and an admin mode for public hosting.
- Menus in English, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and LOLCAT.
How to install Sprint Racer
- 1.Open the CurseForge page and pick the file that matches your Minecraft release.
- 2.Unzip it so the world folder sits inside .minecraft/saves.
- 3.Start Minecraft Java and open the world from Singleplayer.
If the save folder step is new to you, the guide to installing Minecraft maps walks through it for both editions.
Compatibility and trade-offs
The map works with BungeeCord. Fabric also runs it, but stability is not guaranteed and vanilla is the safer route. It does not work with Multiverse, and a heavy plugin stack will probably break something. That makes it a poor fit for crowded multiplayer setups that already lean on many plugins.
For more tracks, ReflectedMantis' Mario Kart Track Pack adds 20 custom tracks on top of the latest Sprint Racer.

Questions about Sprint Racer.
4 questions
How do I install Sprint Racer?
Download the file matching your Minecraft release from CurseForge, then unzip it into the .minecraft/saves folder as an uncompressed world folder. Launch Minecraft Java and the world appears in the Singleplayer list, ready to open.
Can I play Sprint Racer alone?
Yes. The map includes intelligent AI opponents, so a solo player can race or battle without friends online. It also supports any number of players, so the same world works for groups when you want company.
Does Sprint Racer work on Bedrock?
No. Sprint Racer is built for Minecraft Java only, and releases other than Java are listed as not compatible. Bedrock uses a different world format, so this map will not import there.
Does Sprint Racer work with Fabric?
It can run with Fabric, but stability is not guaranteed and the creator suggests playing vanilla. It is also not compatible with Multiverse, and too many plugins are likely to cause problems.
