Accurate Block Placement Reborn is a client-side Fabric mod that takes the timing out of fast block placement. Hold the use key (usually right mouse button), look at a new block, and it is placed no matter how fast you move. It installs on the client only, and servers are not supported.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.19 to 26.3. The newest build requires Fabric API, optionally Cloth Config API and Mod Menu; some builds for 1.21 to 1.21.4 need no dependencies.
How block placement works
Experienced players learn to time their clicks and camera movement to bridge and build quickly without mistakes. This mod removes that skill check. As long as the use key is held, each new block you look at gets the placement automatically.
The feature is enabled by default. You can switch it on or off in the config or through a keybind, which is unbound until you set one.
Fast block breaking
Fast Block Breaking removes the mining cooldown, so breaking blocks feels consistent. The creator describes it as haste insta-mining, but for creative mode. It arrived in release 1.3.0 and applies to Minecraft 1.21.3 and newer.
This one is disabled by default. It has its own config toggle and an unbound keybind, like block placement.

The trade-off is a narrow feature set. It does two things, and it supports Fabric only, so Forge and NeoForge players need a different mod.

Does Accurate Block Placement Reborn work on multiplayer servers?
It is a client-side mod and is not supported on servers. Some servers consider it a cheat and can detect it, so read the server's rules first.
Does Accurate Block Placement Reborn work with Forge or NeoForge?
No. It is a Fabric mod, and the only loader it lists is Fabric. A Java mod runs only with the loader it was made for, so Forge and NeoForge players cannot load it.
Is fast block breaking turned on by default?
No. Accurate block placement is enabled by default, but Fast Block Breaking is disabled until you switch it on. Both can be toggled in the config or through a keybind, and neither keybind is bound by default.
Do I need Mod Menu or Cloth Config for Accurate Block Placement Reborn?
Fabric API is required for the newest release. Mod Menu and Cloth Config API are optional, but the creator strongly recommends them. The mod does not need either of them to run. Any dependency you choose to add goes in the mods folder next to the mod file, the same as Fabric API.
