Newb X Dawn is a Bedrock shader from Aleeee, now released as Newb X Dawn REIMAGINED. It pushes skies, lighting and water toward the look of an RTX package, yet needs no RTX hardware. It targets Android, Windows and iOS, and the latest update repairs shaders that Mojang's own update broke.

What changes visually
- Skies similar to an RTX package, with sunsets and sunrises, sun rays and RTX-style volumetric clouds (Complementary Clouds Reimagined).

How to install Newb X Dawn
The shader needs MBLoader. Import the pack file by opening it with Bedrock, following the add-on install guide if the steps are new to you.
- 1.Install MBLoader, and remove any older Newb X Dawn release to avoid errors.
- 2.Open the pack file with Bedrock so it imports.
- 3.Activate it under Resource Packs in the world settings, above every other active pack.
- 4.On Windows, use Wyvern. If that fails, replace the material.bin files with Maject. On iOS, Hynis is required.
Known limitations
The setup is the trade-off. MBLoader, plus Wyvern or Maject on Windows and Hynis on iOS, makes this heavier to install than a normal resource pack. Pack order matters too, since a pack placed above it can cause errors. Treat it as a stylised take on RTX looks, not a real ray-tracing pack.
