Mr. Nido's Iron Man Project is an Iron Man addon for Minecraft Bedrock that turns the player into the Marvel hero. It adds new ores, an armor builder and a long roster of suits, each with powered weapons. It is Bedrock only and runs as a single .mcaddon file. Mr. Nido made the models, textures, animations and behaviors.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.20.50 to 26.20.

What it adds

Armor starts with materials. Titanium ore generates in the deepest layers and drops 3 to 5 raw titanium, which smelts into ingots. Vibranium ore is found in stone beach biomes and smelts into pieces of vibranium.

Place the Iron Man Armor Builder on the ground and interact with it to open a menu with two categories, armor and weapon arsenals. To craft a suit you need improvised armor in the foot slot plus the listed materials in your inventory. Every suit and arsenal also needs an arc reactor, crafted from its own recipe and worn in the leg slot.

  • Suits run from the Improvised armor and Mark I through Mark L, plus comic variants such as Superior Iron Man and Ultimate Iron Man (2024).
  • War Machine suits and Iron Patriot are included.
  • From Mark VI up, you can breathe underwater and unlock a special suit ability.
  • Suits show a first-person interface, which you switch off by removing the mask from the head slot.

Weapons and abilities

Crouch and use the weapon item in your main hand to open the weapon menu. Glove options include the Repulsor, a Missile Launcher that does not destroy blocks, and a Laser with a 100 charge that must recharge when empty. The reactor slot offers a Reactor Laser (50 charge) and the single-shot Unirayo. Miniguns carry a 50-round magazine, and flares damage nearby enemies.

Arsenals sit in the chest slot and give you weapons without a full suit, as long as the arc reactor is worn. Some abilities are limited to certain suits. Vibranium knives belong to Mark XXX and Mark XXXIII, and the War Machine barrage, with a 200-round magazine, to Mark XXII and the War Machine suits.
