This Stranger Things addon for Minecraft Bedrock fills the regular survival world with Hawkins monsters. Demogorgons climb out of portals, Vecna can be summoned, and a Mind Flayer waits at the top of the threat ladder. It is Bedrock only and targets Minecraft 1.21.101.

What it adds
The creature roster is large. Eggs hatch into a chain of Demodog stages, and the first two stages do not attack. From stage 3 on they turn aggressive, and the full Demodog has 90 health and climbs walls. Portals spawn across the world and release a Demogorgon every 50 to 100 seconds. A lighter sets a portal on fire and removes it at once, but five demobats fly out when it goes.
- Weapons: a wooden bat (5 damage, easy to create in survival) and a pipe (6 damage).
- Bosses: Vecna in two phases (500 and 800 health) and the Mind Flayer with 10000 health, which does not spawn naturally.
- Vecna's Clock: summons Vecna and is crafted from 7 wood blocks, a clock and a netherite ingot.
- Meat monsters: they form after a rat dies, merge when two meet, and can grow into a 300 health Meat Mind Flayer.
- Extras: a peaceful mouse that accepts cheese, chocolate for the second Demodog, and decorative hats.
- Drops: Demogorgon teeth craft a dagger, and the final boss drops a heart that grants brief invulnerability.
How to install Add-on Stranger Things
Open the downloaded file with Minecraft on your device and it imports itself. Then switch the behavior and resource packs on in the world's settings. The install guide for Bedrock add-ons covers each platform, and the troubleshooting guide helps if the packs do not show up. The Demogorgon transformation is a separate file you add on its own.
The project page names no experimental toggles and no dependency packs. It does not say how the addon behaves on Realms or dedicated servers, so test in a throwaway world first.

Which Bedrock release does the Stranger Things addon support?
The newest file targets Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.101, and that is the only release listed. It was last updated in March 2026. Java Edition cannot load add-ons, so this addon works on Bedrock only.
