Immersive Combat is a Bedrock addon from TNKTMCPE that reworks fighting around a toggleable Combat Mode. It is the core combat module of the TerraDraconis series, shipped as a .mcaddon, and it adds mechanics rather than gear. Bedrock only; Java cannot load it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.90 to 26.10.
What it adds
- Attack combos for weapon play
- Parries to deflect incoming strikes
- Dodges to evade heavy hits
- Consumables and magic for an edge in a fight
- Cinematic camera shots, including a follow-orbit preset with customisable positioning
- A voice line system with its own settings
- A skill system covering every weapon type
The whole combat and animation system runs on scripts and uses no player.json. That keeps it friendly to other animation packs such as Action and Stuffs, and to custom weapon and armor packs.
Parries, skills and commands
A normal parry reflects 50% of incoming damage. A perfect parry has a shorter timing window, reflects 100% and grants a brief regeneration effect. A minimum reflect damage stops weak attacks from feeling pointless.
- /skills opens the menu to learn and manage skills
- /stats checks weapon stats
- /ammo works as an arrow quiver alternative
- /disable_skill switches the skill system off for chosen weapons
Installation
Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft so it imports, then switch it on per world in the world's settings. The add-on install guide covers the steps. The newest release dropped the Beta API requirement, so achievements stay available. Also turn off the option that lets gameplay alter FOV in the video settings. If the addon still fails to load, try the add-ons not working guide.
Development status
Most new features now go to the main TerraDraconis addon. This standalone module still receives bug fixes and compatibility updates, and its latest release landed on 2026-05-07.

Questions about Immersive Combat.
4 questions
How do I install Immersive Combat on Bedrock?
Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft so it imports, then create or edit a world and switch the addon on in that world's settings. Also turn off the video setting that lets gameplay alter FOV, which the creator asks players to do.
Why is Immersive Combat not working?
Check that the addon is switched on in the world and that the FOV-altered-by-gameplay video setting is off. If another addon clashes, use /disable_skill for the affected weapons, adjust the config file, or run that addon through the creator's Addon Patcher.
Does Immersive Combat need experimental toggles?
The newest release removed the Beta API requirement, so achievements stay available, and it lists no required dependency packs. For any add-on, experimental toggles matter only when its creator names them, and they are switched on in the world's settings under Experiments.
Does Immersive Combat add new weapons?
No. It adds combat mechanics only, including combos, parries, dodges and skills. You bring the weapons and armor from other addons, which the combat system then drives.
