Loot Randomizer is a Bedrock addon from bony162 that replaces every vanilla drop with a random item. Break a block or kill a mob and you receive something else, drawn from every item available. It is a Bedrock-only pack, and it leaves achievements enabled.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.41 to 1.21.130.
How the randomizer works
On first login you receive a Loot Randomizer item and a book explaining the basics. Loot is randomized from the start. Using the item opens a menu with two modes and a multiplier.
- Seeded Mode (default): drops are random but consistent. If a dirt block drops a Diamond Sword once, every dirt block does, and mobs follow the same rule.
- Pure Random Mode: every break or kill rolls again, so two dirt blocks side by side yield different items.
- Loot Multiplier: a slider from 2x to 64x multiplies the items dropped by blocks and mobs.
Normal routes stop working. You cannot dig down for diamonds or chop a tree for wood, so you break whatever you find to learn where the essentials are hidden. Custom items from other installed addons join the drop pool automatically.
Installation
The newest release, v2.2, is labelled as a behavior pack and lists no required dependencies. Import it by following how to install addons on Bedrock, then switch it on under Behavior Packs in the world's settings. It activates the moment the world loads. If the pack does not appear or does nothing, this troubleshooting guide covers the usual causes.

Questions about Loot Randomizer.
4 questions
How do I install Loot Randomizer on Bedrock?
Open the downloaded pack file with Bedrock so it imports, then create or edit a world and enable the pack under Behavior Packs in the world settings. The addon activates when the world loads, and you receive the Loot Randomizer item and an explanatory book on first login.
Does Loot Randomizer disable achievements?
No. The addon keeps achievements enabled, so you can run a randomized survival world and still earn progress. Its page describes it as safe for survival playthroughs in that sense, though the drops themselves make normal progression far less predictable.
What is the difference between Seeded and Pure Random mode?
Seeded Mode, the default, keeps drops random but consistent: if dirt drops a Diamond Sword, every dirt block does, and each mob keeps its own result. Pure Random Mode rolls again on every break or kill, so identical blocks next to each other drop different items.
Does Loot Randomizer work with other addons?
Yes. Custom items from other installed addons are added to the randomizer pool automatically, so they can drop from blocks or mobs alongside vanilla items. That widens the pool, which makes results even more varied.
