Raiyon's More Shields is the raiyons more shields addon for Minecraft Bedrock. It adds 16 functional shields to replace the plain vanilla one. Builds cover Bedrock 26.0 to 26.20, and the newest is v3.2 from June 2026.
It is Bedrock only, since Java Edition cannot load add-ons. The addon does not disable achievements.
What it adds
Every wood type gets its own shield variant, and a standard shield can still be crafted from mixed woods. The rest carry abilities that trigger on melee hits, on projectiles, on blocking or while wielded.
- A sonic attack every 3 blocked hits, like the Warden's, and it can block the Warden's own sonic attacks.
- Dragon's Fire on contact, with a fireball fired back at projectiles.
- A wind charge returned to projectile attackers, and a shield that launches melee attackers into the air.
- A shulker bullet every 2 blocked hits, and an Emerald Vex summoned on wield that can block magic attacks.
- Max health raised by 2 hearts or by 4 hearts, with regeneration on block or temporary fire protection, and a wither effect on contact.
- Absorption every 3 blocked hits, which also makes piglins neutral like gold armor.
The copper shield oxidizes as durability drops and lights up your surroundings, dimmer as oxidation rises. Honeycomb prevents oxidation, and blocking axe hits scrapes it off. Once oxidized, it makes attackers take 45% to 75% more damage for a few seconds.
Installation
- 1.Download the pack files from CurseForge. The newest build is a .mcpack named More Shields [v3.2] Behaviors Packs.
- 2.Open each file with Minecraft to import it. The install guide covers phones, tablets and Windows.
- 3.Switch on both the behavior pack and the resource pack in the world's settings.
Compatibility
The newest build lists no requirements beyond the packs themselves. The addon works with Actions & Stuff without setup. Text is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese, with English as the fallback.
