Crystal Client is a lightweight Fabric modpack from CPVP Central, built to sharpen crystal PvP on Java. It removes the big totems and the explosion texture through a bundled texture pack, and makes crystals less ping dependent. It runs on the player's own machine only and does not support hosting.
The pack can also be used for PvP modes other than crystal PvP.

Setting it up
Import the pack through the Modrinth App or Prism Launcher, which fetches the mods and Fabric for you. The modpack install guide covers the steps, and Fabric setup helps if you want the loader on its own.

- 2.Launch the profile and open the resource pack settings.
- 3.Enable the low fire and no explosion texture packs by hand.
- 4.For maximum results, turn off view bobbing, vsync, damage tilt, FOV effects, FOV distortion, smooth lighting, fancy graphics and clouds.
The trade-off is manual setup. The visual gains depend on the settings changes above, and the pack does not support hosting.

How do I install Crystal Client?
Import it into the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads Modrinth packs. The launcher downloads the listed mods and Fabric automatically. Then launch the profile and enable the bundled resource packs by hand, because they do not switch on by themselves.
Why is the explosion texture still showing?
The no explosion texture and low fire features ship as resource packs. They have to be activated manually in the resource pack settings. Until you do that, the default explosion and fire visuals stay on screen.
Can I use Crystal Client for non-crystal PvP?
Yes. Crystal Client can be used for PvP modes other than crystal PvP. It is a Fabric pack that runs on the client only, so import it through a launcher that reads Modrinth packs, and turn on the low fire and no explosion texture packs by hand if you want them.
How do I open the cosmetics menu?
Press right shift while you are in a world to access the cosmetics. The pack runs on Fabric and is used on the client only, so open it from a profile you imported through the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads Modrinth packs.
