AdventureZ is a Fabric mod that adds a boss, a tameable dragon and a set of hostile creatures to Minecraft Java, with builds for 1.19.2 to 1.21.1. It must be installed on both client and server. The centrepiece is the Blackstone Golem, which the creator calls the hardest enemy you will ever meet.
Installation and dependencies
- Loader: Fabric only. There are no plans for a Forge version.
- Minecraft versions: 1.19.2 to 1.21.1, with the newest build at 1.5.1 for 1.21.1.
- Required: Fabric API and Cloth Config API, installed separately. Other dependencies come bundled with the mod.

Creatures and where they spawn
- Piglin Beast: appears randomly while you attack piglins or mine nether gold ore.
- Soul Reaper: found in the soul sand valley, and it rides a tameable Nightmare.
- Necromancer and Blaze Guardian: spawn in nether fortresses.
- Summoner and its vanguard: arrive during thunderstorms.
- Blackstone Golem: only appears through a ritual.
Drops feed the mod's own progression. The Golem drops a Blackstone Heart and Netherite, the Piglin Beast drops a Piglin Flag that calms aggressive piglins once charged, and Gilded Netherite Armor is a stronger netherite set that piglins ignore.
Boss rituals and the dragon
To summon the Golem, collect four Gilded Blackstone Shards from piglin bartering or nether bastions. Craft four Chiseled Polished Blackstone Holders in a stone cutter, lay a blackstone circle with a radius of 5, and set a holder on each edge. Placing all four shards starts the ritual. The Eye is summoned by building its altar.
Killing the Eye lets you reclaim the dragon egg, which hatches in about 10 minutes. Feed the dragon raw meat or orc skin to tame it. It becomes rideable with a dragon saddle after one growth stage and can carry a chest after another.
