Animal Feeding Trough is an animal feeding trough mod from Slexom that lets mobs feed themselves. Fill a trough with the right food and nearby animals walk to it, no hand-feeding required. It runs on Fabric and NeoForge, and it must be installed on both the client and the server.

What the trough does
Any mob that can be tempted with food will go looking for a trough holding its favourite item. A chicken seeks one with seeds inside, a pig one with carrots, and so on down the list of breedable animals.
Once a mob reaches a stocked trough it behaves as if the player had fed it by hand. It enters love mode and eventually breeds. The result is a low-effort breeding pen: stock the troughs, step away, and let the herd grow.
Installing it
Pick the loader that matches your instance, then follow the guide for Fabric or NeoForge. Drop the mod file into the mods folder, along with any library the matching file requires, and launch with the loader's profile. Fabric files for Minecraft before 1.19 need Fabric API as well.
For a multiplayer world, put the same files on the server and on every player's client.
Trade-offs
