Bountiful is a Java mod for Fabric and NeoForge that centres on one block, the Bounty Board, and the bounty items that appear inside it. It gives survival worlds short goals, such as fetching items or killing mobs, in return for rewards. The mod must be installed on both sides in multiplayer, and the Forge releases are no longer updated.

- Fabric: Minecraft 1.17.1 to 1.21.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.20.1 to 1.20.4 require Fabric Language Kotlin, Fabric API and Kambrik; some builds for 1.20.4 require Fabric Language Kotlin and Kambrik.
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.20.4 to 1.21.1. The newest build needs no dependencies; builds for 1.20.4 require Kotlin for Forge and Kambrik.
- Forge: Minecraft 1.20.1, builds stopped after November 2024. The newest build requires Kotlin for Forge and Kambrik, optionally Cloth Config API.
How bounties work
Bounty boards generate in villages and fill themselves with bounties. Complete the objective, return to the board and right click it to redeem the reward. Bounties come in the same rarity tiers as vanilla items: Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic.
- Decrees decide what the board offers. An Armorsmith's Decree, for example, brings armor-themed objectives and rewards. A board holds up to three decrees and mixes them.
- Decrees drop as rewards for some bounties. Crafting one produces a random decree when you place it on the board.
- Every board tracks its own reputation. It rises as you turn in bounties, rare bounties appear more often, and some rewards stay locked until it is high enough.
Installation
- 1.Install Fabric or NeoForge for the release you want, following the mod installation guide if you are new to it.
- 2.Add the Bountiful file and any dependencies listed for your loader to the mods folder.
- 3.Put the same files on the host and on every player's install, since the mod is required on both sides.
- 4.Launch with the loader's profile and look for bounty boards in villages.

What does the Bountiful mod do?

Does Bountiful work in multiplayer?
