Conquest Reforged is a Minecraft Java building-blocks mod for Fabric and Forge, current through 1.20.1. It adds thousands of new blocks, models, and textures for architectural detail (arches, roofing, stonework, fencing, and ornamentation) rather than new gameplay systems, and it installs on both the client and the server.
What Conquest Reforged adds
The block catalog covers medieval, fantasy, and realistic building styles: cut stone variants, timber framing, thatch and tile roofing, ornate fences, banners, and dozens of connected-texture blocks that read as one continuous surface instead of a repeating grid. That connected-texture rendering runs through Continuity, and the mod's custom mob and armor visuals depend on Entity Texture Features and Entity Model Features.
- Thousands of building blocks, models, and textures across medieval, fantasy, and realistic themes
- Connected stonework, roofing, and fencing that avoid a repeating-tile look
- Custom armor and mob model overrides layered on top of vanilla mobs
- No new gameplay mechanics, mobs, or progression; it is a building resource, not a content mod
Installing Conquest Reforged and its dependencies
Conquest Reforged needs a stack of companion mods to render correctly, and the stack differs by loader. Fabric builds also require Fabric API plus seven other companion mods; Forge builds need six companion mods with no separate API mod. Install every required entry below in the same profile before launching, or textures, models, or the mod itself can fail to load.
Forge dependencies
- Entity Texture Features (ETF)
- Entity Model Features (EMF)
- Continuity
- BetterGrassify
- Polytone
- ForgeSkyboxes
- Puzzle
Fabric dependencies
- Fabric API
- Entity Texture Features (ETF)
- Entity Model Features (EMF)
- Continuity
- Polytone
- ArdaGrass
- Nuit
- Puzzle
Two Fabric-side mods are optional rather than required: Cloth Config API only adds a settings screen for Nuit, and Animatica only extends animated-texture support. Skipping either one does not break Conquest Reforged itself.
Fabric and Forge version support
Both loaders are actively maintained. As of the latest release-channel builds, published 2026-08-21, Fabric and Forge both currently top out at Minecraft 1.20.1. There is no NeoForge or Quilt build, and the project has not shipped a build for any Minecraft version past 1.20.1, so players on newer 26.x releases cannot run it yet.
Known issues and limits
- All rights reserved, with no public source code, so we link to the official Modrinth page rather than mirroring the file
- A large download on top of a long dependency chain; expect a heavier modded install than a single-jar mod
- Visual and building-block content only, with no new mobs, mechanics, or progression

Questions about Conquest Reforged.
5 questions
What does Conquest Reforged add to Minecraft?
Conquest Reforged adds thousands of new blocks, models, and textures aimed at detailed architecture: medieval and fantasy stonework, timber framing, roofing, and ornamentation. It changes what players can build with, not how the game plays, and works alongside vanilla survival or creative mode.
How do I install Conquest Reforged?
Install the loader-matching Conquest Reforged file from Modrinth into your mods folder, then add every required companion mod for that loader (eight for Fabric, seven for Forge). Missing a required dependency causes textures, models, or the whole mod to fail to load.
Does Conquest Reforged work with both Fabric and Forge?
Yes. Conquest Reforged ships separate Fabric and Forge builds, both currently reaching Minecraft 1.20.1. The two loaders need different companion mods: Fabric adds Fabric API, ArdaGrass, and Nuit, where Forge uses BetterGrassify and ForgeSkyboxes instead.
Which Minecraft version does Conquest Reforged support?
Conquest Reforged's version history runs from 1.10.2 through 1.20.1, and the current release-channel builds for both Fabric and Forge top out at 1.20.1 as of August 2026. There is no NeoForge, Quilt, or newer 26.x build yet.
Is the Conquest Reforged Modpack the same as this mod?
No. The Conquest Reforged Modpack (Fabric), listed separately on Modrinth, bundles this mod with additional content packs and is maintained as its own project. This page covers the base Conquest Reforged mod and its own companion mods, not that modpack bundle.
