Create: Diesel Generators is a Create addon for Forge and NeoForge that adds compact diesel engines, simple industrial machinery and a crude oil refinery. It is needed on both sides of a multiplayer session, so players and the host install the same file. The goal is streamlined industry that keeps Create's look, not a realistic simulation.
Loaders and versions
- NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21.1. The newest build requires Create, optionally Strut Your Stuff (Struts); some builds for 1.21.1 need no dependencies.
- Forge: Minecraft 1.18.2 to 1.20.1. The newest build requires Create; some builds for 1.20.1 need no dependencies.
What it adds
The content list runs from fuels to machines to building materials, all in Create's style.
- Pumpjacks, burners, bulk fermenters, oil barrels and canisters.
- Engines and engine upgrades, the compact diesel generators the mod is named for.
- Chemical turrets and chemical sprayers, plus lighters, hammers and wire cutters.
- Compression molding and casting.
- Track layer bags and building materials: chip wood, asphalt, andesite girders, sheet metal panels and cement.
Installing it
- 1.Install Forge or NeoForge for your target release, following our loader guide.
- 2.Place the mod file and the required dependency file from the list above in the mods folder.
- 3.Launch with the loader's profile and check that both mods appear in the mod list.
- 4.Repeat on the host, since the mod must be present on both sides.

Yes, but it is required on both sides. Every player and the host must install the same mod, along with Create. The mod is not a client-only tweak, so it cannot be added by one player alone.
