Moog's Voyager Structures is a worldgen mod that adds more than 130 vanilla-style structures to your world, made entirely from vanilla blocks and entities. It runs on Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, while Quilt builds stopped in April 2024. It is a server-side mod, so players joining a world do not install it.

Loaders and versions

  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.18 to 26.3. The newest build requires Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures); some builds for 1.18 to 1.21.10 need no dependencies.
  • Forge: Minecraft 1.16.5 to 26.3. The newest build requires Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures); some builds for 1.16.5 to 1.20.4 need no dependencies.
  • NeoForge: Minecraft 1.19 to 26.3. The newest build requires Moog's Structure Lib (moogs_structures); some builds for 1.19 to 1.21.10 need no dependencies.
  • Quilt: Minecraft 1.19 to 1.20.4, builds stopped after April 2024. The newest build needs no dependencies.

What it adds

The aim is a world that feels lived in without leaving the vanilla look. The mod works with any modpack.

  • Dungeons with loot and enemies to fight.
  • Friendly villagers inside some structures.
  • Only vanilla blocks and entities, so nothing new to learn or craft.

Installing it

  1. 1.Set up the loader for your world. The guides for Fabric and Forge or NeoForge cover it.
  2. 2.Put the mod file in the mods folder of the server, together with the library the newest releases require.
  3. 3.Start the server with that loader's profile.

Configuration

Every part of the mod can be changed with datapacks. A separate config pack on the project's pages provides a template with full instructions, which suits modpack authors who want to tune structure behaviour.

Questions about Moog's Voyager Structures.

4 questions

Do players need to install Moog's Voyager Structures?

No. The mod is server-side only, and the client side is unsupported. Install it on the server, and players who join do not need a copy of their own. The file goes in the server's mods folder with the library the newest releases require, and the server must run the loader that file was built for.

Does Moog's Voyager Structures work with other loaders?

It has releases for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Quilt had releases too, but they stopped in April 2024 and only cover older versions. Pick the file made for your loader, because a file for one loader will not run on another.

Is there a Bedrock version of Moog's Voyager Structures?

This page covers the Java mod only, and Java mods cannot be loaded on Bedrock. Modrinth hosts Java content, and this mod is built for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge, so it needs one of those loaders on a Java install.

Can I change which structures generate?

Yes. The mod is customisable through datapacks, and a separate config pack offers a template with full instructions. This lets modpack authors adjust how the structures behave without editing the mod itself.
