Noxesium is a Fabric mod that improves play on multiplayer servers by giving the server more control over the client and fixing bugs that affect multiplayer. It runs on the client only. Noxcrew, the studio behind MC Championship and MCC Island, develops it, so its features lean toward those projects.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.19 to 26.3. The newest build needs no dependencies; some builds for 1.19.3 to 1.21.4 require Fabric API; some builds for 1.19 to 1.21.1 require Fabric API.
What it changes for players
Most features are configurable or controlled by the server. The ones you notice without any server involvement are interface tweaks and bug fixes.
- Scale and reposition various UI elements.
- Show off-hand maps in the HUD as a fixed mini-map, so they stop moving as you walk (optional).
- Accessibility setting to stop toggle sprint resetting on death, enabled by default.
- Inventory close and drop keys work when bound to mouse buttons, and mouse buttons in toggle or hold mode recover after a menu closes.
- Transparent entity models show correctly behind text displays, moving piston walls flicker less, and teleported passengers no longer jitter.
What servers can do with it
Server developers get tools that bypass some vanilla restrictions. They can add speed boosters and jump pads, give the client authority over riptide tridents and elytras so they behave the same at any ping, play custom sounds, draw player heads or offset text, lock the camera, change FOV, resize hitboxes and add a custom creative tab. A Paper plugin exposes these through code or in-game commands. Other mods and plugins can extend Noxesium too.
On MCC Island the server detects Noxesium and sends your location and game state. Mods such as Island Utils and Trident use that data. Noxesium is also bundled into some versions of Lunar Client.
Installation
- 1.Install Fabric Loader for the Java release you play.
- 2.Put the Noxesium .jar, plus any dependency listed above for your release, in the mods folder.
- 3.Launch with the Fabric profile and join a multiplayer server.

Questions about Noxesium.
3 questions
What does Noxesium do?
Noxesium is a client-side Fabric mod for multiplayer. It adds UI scale and position options, fixes several input and rendering bugs, and lets servers control extra client behaviour such as custom sounds, hitbox sizes, camera locks and jump pads.
Does Noxesium work on a multiplayer server?
You install it on the client, not on the server. Servers cannot run it. A server can use its features through a Paper plugin, and MCC Island detects the mod to send extra location and game state information.
Does Noxesium work with Forge or NeoForge?
No. Noxesium is built for Fabric only. Builds exist for Fabric across its whole supported range, and none are listed for Forge, NeoForge or Quilt.
