The Rechiseled mod adds over 600 decorative variants of vanilla blocks, all with connected textures. A single chisel exchanges one variant for another. It runs on Fabric, NeoForge, Quilt and Forge, and it is required on both client and server.

How the chisel works
Right-click the chisel to open the chiseling screen. Put a block in and the screen previews every variant, plus the matching stairs and slabs, so you can pick one and take it out. Most blocks come in connected and non-connected forms, and a button in the bottom right toggles between them.
- Left-click a placed block to turn it into a random variant.
- Store a block in the chisel and it acts as a filter, so left-clicked blocks change to that exact variant.
- The chisel has no durability, so it can be used as often as you like.
- Stairs and slabs of a variant connect with its full block.
Official addons
Three addons extend the set. Rechiseled: Create adds a Mechanical Chisel that works inside contraptions from Create, plus 100+ variants of its blocks. Rechiseled: Applied Energistics 2 adds a Chiseling Pattern Encoder for autocrafting through Applied Energistics 2, and another 100+ variants. Rechiseled: Cobblemon covers the Tumblestone, Apricorn and Saccharine block sets from Cobblemon.
Installation and trade-offs

Does the Rechiseled chisel have durability?
No. The chisel never wears out, so you can use it as many times as you want to swap blocks, both through the chiseling screen and by left-clicking placed blocks in the world.
Why are my Rechiseled blocks not connecting?
Most blocks come in two forms, one with connected textures and one without. Open the chiseling screen and press the toggle button in the bottom right corner to switch to the connected form.
Can I use Rechiseled in a modpack?
Yes. The mod's own page says you are free to include it in your modpack. The repository carries no licence file and Modrinth lists All Rights Reserved.
Does Rechiseled work on multiplayer servers?
Yes, but it must be installed on both sides. The server and every connecting player need the mod and its required libraries, built for the same loader and Minecraft release.
