Plan | Player Analytics is a self-hosted plugin that turns raw session and event data into a real-time web dashboard for a Minecraft server or network. It answers the questions that matter for running one: how many players are online right now, who is a regular versus a one-time visitor, and where TPS or uptime is slipping, all without sending data to a third-party service.
What the dashboard shows
The plugin's built-in web server serves a Server Overview page with an online-activity graph, total and regular player counts, session totals, and a week-over-week comparison of new players, kills, and playtime. Every player also gets an individual overview page with total playtime, session history, ping, kill and death counts, and a punchcard chart of the days and hours they tend to log in. A Query tool lets an admin filter the whole playerbase by criteria such as permission group or a specific play date range, useful for finding inactive accounts or a server's most active regulars.
Supported server software and proxies
One universal jar covers Bukkit, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, Folia, and Sponge servers, plus BungeeCord, Velocity, and Waterfall proxies, so a network can drop the same file onto every backend server and the proxy to get combined, network-wide statistics instead of separate per-server dashboards. A separate Fabric server build also exists, but Plan's core use case is a Bukkit or Paper server, or a proxied network of them, not a Fabric client mod.
Installing the Fabric build's dependencies
The universal Bukkit, Paper, Spigot, and proxy jar has no plugin dependencies of its own. The separate Fabric build is different: it requires Fabric API to load, and it can optionally read permission groups from fabric-permissions-api or LuckPerms if either is installed, so group-based stats line up with however the server already manages permissions.
Version support
Plan's current build (5.8, build 3638, released 2026-09-05) declares support back to 1.13 and up through 26.3 on every platform it ships for, Bukkit, Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Folia, Sponge, BungeeCord, Velocity, Waterfall, and the separate Fabric build. It has been maintained continuously since the 1.13 era, so a legacy server and a current 26.x server can both run the same plugin line.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about Plan | Player Analytics.
4 questions
What does Plan track on a Minecraft server?
Plan tracks online activity, playtime, session counts and length, kills and deaths, ping, and login-time patterns per player, plus server-wide numbers like TPS, uptime, and week-over-week player trends. All of it renders on a web dashboard the plugin serves itself, with no data sent to an outside analytics company.
Does Plan work with Paper and Spigot, or only Bukkit?
The same jar runs on Bukkit, Paper, Purpur, and Spigot, along with Folia and Sponge servers and BungeeCord, Velocity, and Waterfall proxies. Installing it on every backend server plus the proxy gives combined, network-wide statistics instead of a separate dashboard per server.
Do I need a separate plugin for a Fabric server?
Yes. Fabric uses its own build of Plan, which is not the same jar as the Bukkit and Paper release and requires Fabric API to load. The Bukkit, Paper, Spigot, and proxy build has no dependencies of its own.
Where does Plan's dashboard get hosted?
Plan runs a built-in web server on the Minecraft server itself, so the dashboard is reachable at the server's own address and port without signing up for or paying a third-party hosting service.
