The SimpleClaimSystem plugin protects land by chunk. Players claim, unclaim and merge chunks, then decide who can build, open doors or enter. It runs on Folia, Paper, Purpur and Spigot, and it is server-side only, so players join with a normal client.
Server software and versions
- Folia, Paper, Purpur and Spigot: Minecraft 1.18 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies.
- Bukkit: Minecraft 1.19 to 1.20.6, builds stopped after June 2024. The newest build needs no dependencies.
What players can do with a claim
Each claim can be renamed, given a description, moved to a new teleport spawn or transferred to another player. Owners add members, ban or kick visitors, and sell or buy claims through Vault economy. Particle borders show where a claim ends, and claim fly, auto-claim, auto-map and a private claim chat speed up daily use.
- GUIs for your claims, all claims, settings, members, bans and chunks, plus admin GUIs (not available on Bedrock).
- Bedrock GUIs, with Bedrock players supported through Floodgate and Geyser.
- Protected areas for server-managed regions and an auto-purge system for inactive player claims.
- Multi-language support and a developer API with sync and async methods.
Protection settings
More than 30 settings cover visitors, members and natural events. Toggle build and destroy rights, buttons, levers, pressure plates, doors, portals, item pickup and drop, PvP, explosions, fire spread, liquid and redstone inflow, monster spawning, weather, elytra and wind charges. Several interaction lists, such as usable items and interactive blocks, are edited in config.yml.

Drop the .jar into the plugins folder and restart, as covered in how to install plugins. No dependency is required. Optional support covers PlaceholderAPI, WorldGuard, Vault, ItemsAdder, and map plugins Dynmap, BlueMap and Pl3xMap. Claims from GriefPrevention can be imported.

5 questions
How do I install SimpleClaimSystem?
Place the plugin's .jar file in the plugins folder of your Folia, Paper, Purpur or Spigot server and restart it. No dependencies are required. Players do not install anything and join with a normal client. Optional integrations such as Vault or PlaceholderAPI are added separately.
Does SimpleClaimSystem work on Folia?
Yes. Folia is listed among its supported server software alongside Paper, Purpur and Spigot, and the plugin advertises Folia support. It is built on the Spigot API and is described as fully compatible with Paper, Purpur and Folia. No dependencies are required.
Can I migrate claims from GriefPrevention?
Yes. SimpleClaimSystem includes an import feature for GriefPrevention claims, listed as migration support. GriefPrevention also appears among its listed integrations, alongside WorldGuard, Vault, PlaceholderAPI and the Dynmap, BlueMap and Pl3xMap map plugins. The plugin itself protects land by chunk and needs no dependencies.
Does SimpleClaimSystem support Bedrock players?
Bedrock GUIs are included, and Bedrock Edition support works through Floodgate and Geyser. The admin GUIs are not available for Bedrock. The plugin itself is a Java server plugin.
Can players buy and sell claims?
Yes. Claims can be sold and bought, and Vault support provides the economy integration for claim purchasing and selling. Separately, an owner can transfer a claim to another player directly, and can rename it, change its description and move its teleport spawn.
