Screenshot 1 of 4. A wide grid of small item icons on a dirt-block wall, shown with the Small Items pack.
Small Items is a Bedrock resource pack by VoxenMC2 that shrinks every tool and item, so held gear covers less of the screen. If you want a small items texture pack for a cleaner view in fights and building, this is the Bedrock option. It is Bedrock only, and Java cannot load it.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 26.50.
Pick a subpack
The pack ships four subpacks, and you choose one. The smaller you go, the more open the screen feels.
- Small, slightly smaller items.
- Smaller, reduced screen coverage.
- Smallest, minimal screen usage.
- Tiny, very small items for maximum clarity.
How to install Small Items
- 1.Open the .mcpack file with Bedrock. It imports on its own (double-click on Windows, open with Minecraft on phones and tablets).
- 2.Open your world's settings and go to Resource Packs.
- 3.Activate Small Items.
Resource packs are switched on per world, so repeat the steps for each world. If the import fails, the add-on install guide walks through it, and this troubleshooting guide covers packs that refuse to appear.
Known limitations
Because it only touches items, the pack is not fully compatible with every texture style, and you may notice minor visual mismatches next to other packs.
Questions about Small Items.
4 questions
How do I install Small Items?
Open the .mcpack file with Bedrock so it imports, then go to your world's settings and activate Small Items under Resource Packs. Packs are enabled per world, so repeat the process for every world where you want smaller items. The pack includes four subpacks, from Small to Tiny.
Does Small Items make blocks smaller too?
No. The pack only changes item and tool textures. Block sizes are untouched, and the apple texture stays almost the same. If you want the held gear to take up less room while the world looks as usual, that is exactly what it does.
Is Small Items available for Java?
No. Small Items is a Bedrock pack only. Java uses a different pack format and cannot load Bedrock add-ons or .mcpack files. Players on Java need a separate small or mini item pack made for that platform.
Which subpack makes items the smallest?
Tiny is the smallest of the four, built for maximum clarity. Smallest comes next, then Smaller and Small, which is only slightly smaller than normal. You can try each one and keep whichever size feels comfortable.
