Health Bar Indicator is a simplistic, 16x resource pack for Bedrock that puts a health bar above every mob and, if you choose, other players. It is built for fights, pet care and mount checks, and it runs on Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows 10/11, Xbox and PlayStation. It is a pure resource pack, so there is no behavior pack, no command and no experimental toggle to set up.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.80 to 26.60.

What changes visually

Each bar shows health as a percentage and updates the moment a mob takes damage or heals. The bar shifts colour as health drops, so a glance is enough to read a fight. It also turns to face the camera, so it stays readable from any angle.

  • 86 mobs covered, including nautilus, zombie nautilus, camel husk, parched, sulfur cube, copper golem and happy ghast.
  • Baby mobs get their own tuned bar height and size.
  • Bars appear within 32 blocks only, and hide on invisible mobs, in inventory screens and on spawn egg previews.
  • Two display modes, picked in the subpack menu. Player + Mobs also shows bars on other players (your own bar stays hidden in first person). Mobs Only skips players.

How to install Health Bar Indicator

  1. 1.Get the .mcpack file from the CurseForge page and open it. Bedrock imports it automatically.
  2. 2.Activate it under Global Resources, or in a world's Resource Packs.
  3. 3.Tap the pack and choose Player + Mobs or Mobs Only.

The pack also works in multiplayer and on Realms. If the import fails or the bars do not appear, the Bedrock add-on install guide and the add-on troubleshooting guide cover the usual causes.

Known limitations

The pack does one job, health bars for mobs and players, and it is Bedrock only, since Java cannot load Bedrock packs.
