ACT Weapons is a Bedrock addon from ActL that adds a tactical firearm set with custom 3D models and mechanical animations. It is Bedrock only, ships as a .mcaddon file and is built without scripts. The newest file lists no required dependencies, so the ACT Weapons addon works as a standalone pack for players who want modern rifles and ammo rather than new mobs or biomes.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.132 to 26.20.

What it adds

The pack centres on a small arsenal with an integrated progression system.

  • Four guns: Mac1014, M14 EBR, SCAR-H and MK23 SOCOM.
  • Attachment items for the weapons.
  • Two ammo types for now: 12 gauge and 7.62x51mm.

How to install ACT Weapons

  1. 1.Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock (double-click on Windows, open with Minecraft on phones and tablets) and let it import.
  2. 2.Create or edit a world, then switch the add-on on in the world's settings.
  3. 3.Load the world with the add-on active.

The page names no experimental toggles. If the pack misbehaves on import, the add-on troubleshooting guide covers the usual causes, and the Bedrock install guide covers manual folder placement.

Trade-offs

The scope is narrow. Four guns and two ammo types make a compact pack, not a full weapons overhaul. For a wider armoury, look at New Weapons Overhaul. The project links no repository and lists no licence, so there is nothing to inspect beyond the files themselves.

Questions about ACT Weapons.

4 questions

How do I install ACT Weapons on Bedrock?

Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock and it imports on its own. Then edit your world and switch the add-on on in the world settings. On Windows you can also place the pack folders under com.mojang in behavior_packs and resource_packs.

Does ACT Weapons need experimental toggles?

The project page names no experimental toggles, and the addon is described as script-free, with a newest file that lists no required dependencies. Switch the add-on on in the world settings as usual. Any toggle a creator names would be switched on under Experiments in those same world settings.

Which guns are in ACT Weapons?

The addon includes the Mac1014, M14 EBR, SCAR-H and MK23 SOCOM, plus attachment items. Ammo currently covers 12 gauge and 7.62x51mm.

Can I use ACT Weapons on Java Edition?

No. It is a Bedrock addon, and Java Edition cannot load .mcaddon packs. Java players need a mod built for their own loader instead.
