Advanced Storage Network is a Bedrock addon that replaces scattered chests with one network you reach through a single screen. Browse it, search it and craft straight from it without opening a chest. This advanced storage network addon is made by Fluffyalien1422 and works on Bedrock only, so Java players need a different project.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.20.80 to 26.40. The newest build optionally uses Bedrock Energistics Core.
What it adds
- Storage for any item and any fluid, including ones from other addons. The network grows as far as you build it.
- A custom screen that covers the whole network.
- Automation devices that move items in and out, keep an item in stock, and drive redstone from what is stored.
- Wireless access, plus relays that join distant parts of a network across any distance and any dimension.
- Support for other Bedrock Energistics Core addons, which can power the network or pipe fluids into it.
Power and the trade-off
The addon adds no generators of its own. Power comes from another Bedrock Energistics Core addon such as Bedrock Energistics, so a power source is a second thing to install. The newest build treats Core as optional, and running /asnrule useEnergy false lets you play without energy at all.
Installation
- 1.Open the pack file with Bedrock so it imports. The add-on install guide covers phones, tablets and Windows.
- 2.In the world settings, switch on the addon's behavior pack and resource pack.
- 3.Spawn into the world. You receive the Advanced Storage Network Tutorial Book the first time, and can craft another from a book and an emerald.
- 4.Interact with any device while holding the book to open that device's entry, which says what it does and what it needs.
Configuration
Rules change in-game with operator permissions. /asnrule help lists every rule, /asnrule followed by a rule name reads it, and adding a value sets it. Numbers must be quoted. /asnrulereset restores one rule or all of them. Release line v3 gets full support, v2 gets bug fixes only, and anything older is unsupported.
Questions about Advanced Storage Network.
3 questions
Does Advanced Storage Network need Bedrock Energistics Core?
The newest build lists Bedrock Energistics Core as optional. The addon adds no generators, so for a powered network you pair it with another Core addon such as Bedrock Energistics. Otherwise run /asnrule useEnergy false to play without energy.
How do I play Advanced Storage Network without energy?
Use an operator account and run /asnrule useEnergy false in the world. That rule turns off the energy requirement, so devices work without a Core power source. /asnrulereset useEnergy puts it back to the default.
Where do I find out what each device does?
You receive the Advanced Storage Network Tutorial Book when you first spawn into a world, and you can craft another from a book and an emerald. Interact with a device while holding it to open that device's entry, or read the book online.
