UtilityCraft is a Minecraft Bedrock addon from DoriosStudios that turns survival into a tech progression, with machines, generators, spawners, bonsais and fluid tanks. It is Bedrock only, since Java cannot load addons. The UtilityCraft addon is a bundle of connected systems rather than a single feature.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 26.30.

What it adds

  • Bountiful Bonsais for passive wood and crop farming, and Bountiful Crops for growing ores and rare resources in fields.
  • Cobblestone generators that scale from basic iron speed up to netherite.
  • Mechanical spawners for customizable mob farming.
  • Fluid tanks that store and move large amounts of liquid.
  • Paxels, AIOTs and drills, multi-tools that save inventory space.
  • Way Computer, a first step into digital automation, plus Dorios' Basics for core blocks and recipes.

Energy, machines and early game

Everything runs on Dorios Energy (DE). You generate it with furnaces, lava, sunlight and more, store it in batteries, and feed it to crushers, infusers, presses, furnaces and harvesters. Upgrades make each machine faster, more efficient or longer in range. Items move through improved hoppers and uppers, or through conduits and exporters once you go advanced.

The early game starts with the sieve. Place a mesh inside it, put a block such as gravel, sand or dirt on top, and it filters out drops like ores or seeds. Sieves placed in a 5x5 group (up to 25) all work when you interact with just one. Bonsai and crop growth use real-time systems rather than fixed tick cycles. UtilityCraft is also compatible with Integrated Storage by Dingsel, and the crusher accepts Certus Quartz, Charged Certus Quartz, Fluix and Skystone.

Questions about UtilityCraft.

3 questions

How do I install UtilityCraft on Bedrock?

Get the file from the CurseForge page and open it with Minecraft Bedrock so it imports. Then create or edit a world and switch on the addon's behavior and resource packs in the world settings. Load the world and the machines and items become available.

Does UtilityCraft work on Java?

No. UtilityCraft is a Bedrock addon, and Java cannot load addons because it uses a different format. Add-ons are Bedrock Edition only, so the files will not work there. Bedrock players import the file by opening it with Minecraft, then switch on the behavior and resource packs per world in the world settings.

Is there a guide for UtilityCraft?

Yes. An in-game guide sits at the top of the How to Play section in the pause menu. DoriosStudios also keeps a wiki with documentation and advanced setup instructions, linked from the CurseForge page.
