The Beyond the Underground addon adds 8 new cave types to Bedrock. HonKit26113 ships it as a single .mcaddon file. Expect new terrain, aggressive mobs, treasure and a few special weapons.

What it adds
Each cave changes the stone, plants, fog and mob spawns around you. Three of the eight are described in detail on the project page:
- Luminous Caverns sit under Mushroom Fields and are peaceful, with no natural hostile mobs. Luminous Mooshrooms and Shroom Elfs roam among giant glowing mushrooms, and Luminous Mushroom Stew restores 6 hunger points and gives Night Vision for 15 seconds.
- Slimy Sewers sit under Swamps and Mangrove Swamps. Thick green fog cuts your render distance, Slimy Zombies arrive in hordes of 3 to 5, and the Slime Dungeon holds three spawners and the Slime Dagger.
- Limestone Caves sit under Deserts and are filled with yellow fog. Scorpions swarm in groups of 2 to 4 and poison for 10 seconds per hit, Sandy Skellies drop skulls 10% of the time, and the skulls go into the Wand of the Sands.
Luminite gear
Luminite Ore generates from Y -64 to 12 in Luminous Caverns and drops 1 to 2 shards. Combine 6 shards with 1 Diamond to craft a Luminite gem, then turn it into gear. Its stats sit between Diamond and Netherite, matching how hard it is to obtain.
Installation
Open the .mcaddon file with Bedrock to import it, then switch on its behavior and resource packs in each world's settings. The add-on install guide covers every platform. If the packs refuse to appear or load, try the fix guide for add-ons that do not work.

How do I install Beyond the Underground on Bedrock?
Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock, by double-clicking it on Windows or choosing Open with Minecraft on phones and tablets. Then edit your world's settings and activate the addon's behavior and resource packs. Java Edition cannot load it.
Which cave in Beyond the Underground is peaceful?
Luminous Caverns, found under Mushroom Fields. No hostile mobs spawn there naturally. Luminous Mooshrooms and Shroom Elfs live in the cave, and its giant mushrooms and vines give off a little light. It is the safest place to look for Luminite.
