Vanilla Upgrade is a vanilla upgrade addon for Bedrock Edition by Vlliage, a passion project that Team Various and the author have worked on since 2021. It adds a wide spread of blocks, mobs and features, all designed around one rule: something Minecraft would add. It is Bedrock only, and Java Edition cannot load it.

The creator's own pitch is "something Minecraft would add, but remember that the mace was added". That sets the tone: additions that feel native, with a bolder reach than a single-theme pack. The content falls into a few groups.

The scope is the catch. An addon this large changes how a world plays, so start with a fresh world before bringing it into a long-running save.
