Block Armor is a Bedrock addon by SystemTv that turns blocks and materials into 35 complete armor sets, 140 pieces in all, and most sets carry a power. It is Bedrock only and asks for no experimental toggles. It is also built for multiplayer and Realms.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.20 to 26.50.

What it adds

Sets come from Glowstone, TNT, Sculk, Redstone, Honey, Quartz, Obsidian, Stone and many other materials. The armor is repairable and takes vanilla enchantments. Of the 35 sets, 34 have an active power. Dirt Armor is the plain exception.

  • Brick Armor cuts explosion damage by 40% and reduces explosion knockback.
  • Log Armor grants Speed I, and Andesite Armor gives Haste I while you hold a pickaxe near stone-like blocks.
  • Granite Armor stores a charge when you take damage, then adds 3 damage to your next hit within 5 seconds.
  • Redstone Block Armor pulls in dropped items and experience from up to roughly 8 blocks, and the range grows with each piece worn.
  • TNT Armor gives a Blast Jump that no longer causes fall damage on landing.

An in-game armor guide explains each set, and optional translated lore covers 29 language variants. Every power can be switched on or off. Personal settings are open to everyone, while world settings are limited to the owner, operators and admin-level players.

Questions about Block Armor.

4 questions

Does Block Armor work on Realms?

The creator lists Block Armor as Realms and multiplayer friendly. It also avoids player.json, which helps it sit alongside other add-ons. Powers are controlled by world settings, so the owner or an operator decides which armor abilities are active for everyone in the world.

Does Block Armor need experimental toggles?

No. The creator states that no experimental gameplay is required, and the newest file lists no dependencies. Import the .mcaddon, then enable its behavior and resource packs in your world's settings. Nothing else needs to be turned on for the armor and its powers to work.

Can I turn off individual armor powers?

Yes. Every armor power can be enabled or disabled. Personal settings are available to all players, while the global world settings can only be changed by the world owner or host, operators and admin-level players. Other players keep their personal features.

Is Block Armor compatible with other add-ons?

The creator describes it as compatible with other add-ons and names Action & Stuff specifically. It does not use player.json, which is a common source of clashes between packs. Conflicts with unrelated packs are not documented, so test a new combination in a fresh world first.
