Expansive Ores is a Bedrock addon by SystemTv that stretches survival into a longer climb through new ores, tools, armor, shields, tridents, bows, rings, totems and special mobs. It is Bedrock only, works in multiplayer and on Realms, and needs no experimental toggles or extra packs.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.132 to 26.50.
What it adds
The addon layers a progression path over vanilla survival instead of replacing it. Materials run from Topaz and Rhodium through Onyx and Platinum, Jade, Ruby and Sapphire, Fluorite and Uranium, ending at Amber. Salt feeds food content and Prismarine Ore supports prismarine progression.
- Armor sets with a full-set bonus when all four pieces match, such as Haste I and Luck I for Topaz or Regeneration I and Health Boost I for Amber.
- Hammers that mine a 3×3 area (sneak for 1×1) and fast drills that refuse to break Bedrock.
- Perfect Shot for bows and tridents, with a configurable HUD and sound.
- Custom shields, rings, totems, special mobs and tables with their own interfaces.
Guide and settings
Every player receives the Expansive Ores Guide item once on joining a world. Lose it and you can craft another from 1 Book and 1 Topaz. Personal settings, such as ore discovery messages, hammer preview and the Perfect Shot indicator, affect only you. World settings cover custom mobs, armor and ring bonuses, ring linking, shield blocking and 3×3 hammer mining. They affect everyone and need the world owner or an operator.
How to install Expansive Ores
- 1.Open ExpansiveOres V2.6.mcaddon with Bedrock so it imports (double-click on Windows, open with Bedrock on phones and tablets).
- 2.Create or edit a world and switch on the addon's behavior pack and resource pack in the world settings.
- 3.Join the world and pick up the guide. The install guide covers manual folders, and the troubleshooting guide helps if packs fail to load.

Questions about Expansive Ores.
4 questions
Does Expansive Ores work on Realms?
Yes. The addon is listed as compatible with Realms and multiplayer. Personal settings affect only your own player, while world settings affect everyone and need the world owner or an operator to change them. They include toggles for custom mobs, armor set bonuses, ring bonuses and shield blocking, which helps if you want a simpler survival world.
Does Expansive Ores need experimental toggles?
No. The addon is described as using no experimental gameplay and no player.json, so you only switch on its behavior and resource packs for the world. It also has no required dependency pack. Optional Novelty API support exists for rings and totems, but the addon does not need it to run.
How do I install Expansive Ores on Bedrock?
Open the ExpansiveOres V2.6.mcaddon file with Bedrock so it imports, then create or edit a world and switch on the addon's behavior and resource packs in the world settings. When you join, the Expansive Ores Guide item is handed to you automatically. On Windows a double-click opens the file.
What if I lose the Expansive Ores Guide?
Every player gets the guide once when joining the world. If you lose it, craft another with 1 Book and 1 Topaz. The guide explains ores, progression, gear, mobs, rings, totems, armor bonuses and both personal and world settings, so you do not need to keep the web page open while playing.
