DontCry is a Bedrock addon that turns the world into a stalker horror setting. It is the official Bedrock port of the original DontCry mod, made by Omayoba. It ships as a single .mcaddon file and is for Bedrock only.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 26.10 to 26.40.
What it adds
The addon adds a large set of creatures built around one idea, the fake scripted videos that some YouTubers post. Omayoba took inspiration from those clips and wanted to recreate them as a playable mod.
How to install DontCry
- 1.Get the .mcaddon file from the CurseForge page linked on this site.
- 2.Open the file with Minecraft Bedrock. Double-click it on Windows, or choose Open with Minecraft on a phone or tablet. The pack imports on its own.
- 3.Create or edit a world, then switch on the addon's behavior pack and resource pack under Behavior Packs and Resource Packs.
If the import fails or the creatures never appear, the guide to fixing add-ons that do not work covers the usual causes. First-timers can start with the Bedrock add-on install guide.

Questions about DontCry.
3 questions
How do I install DontCry on Bedrock?
Open the .mcaddon file with Minecraft Bedrock and it imports automatically. Then create or edit a world and enable the addon's behavior pack and resource pack in the world settings. It is a Bedrock-only file, so Java Edition cannot load it.
Is the Bedrock DontCry the same as the Java mod?
It is the official Bedrock port of the original DontCry mod, made by Omayoba. The two live on separate CurseForge pages. The Java original is a mod, while this one is an addon packaged as a .mcaddon file for Bedrock Edition.
Does DontCry need experimental toggles?
The Bedrock page names no experimental toggles, and the newest file lists no required dependencies. If a world still misbehaves after you enable the packs, check the world's Experiments settings and the add-on troubleshooting guide.
