Backrooms The Forgotten Complex is a Bedrock addon by WanMine and GOJIDRAWBOOM that adds the Backrooms to your world. It draws on Kane Pixel's work and the fandom wiki, and it works on Bedrock Edition only. Expect yellow wallpaper, damp carpet, humming lights and something that has heard you.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft 1.21.130 to 26.30.

What it adds

You reach the Backrooms by finding a Null zone, a thin light in your reality. To get out, you do the same thing. Each level has a difficulty class and a sanity drain rate, so the addon plays more like a survival horror run than a simple dimension swap.

  • Level 0, The Lobby. Difficulty 1, low sanity drain. Endless yellow offices with large furniture rooms, remains of earlier wanderers with loot, and Almond Water to restore sanity. Bacteria roam the halls.
  • Level 1, The Habitable Zone. Difficulty 1, medium drain. A concrete parking-garage space with loot crates and food, no native entities, and lights that fail for several minutes at a time.
  • Level 2, Pipe Dream. Difficulty 4, extreme drain. Hot maintenance tunnels with poisonous gas and scarce supplies. A Hazmat Suit is strongly recommended.
  • Level 188, Courtyard of Windows. Difficulty 0, no sanity drain. A calm hotel-like hub that connects many parts of the Complex.
