Enchantment Books X-Plus is a Bedrock Edition addon by BlackFire4775 that pushes enchantment levels well past vanilla caps. It needs no experimental toggles, scripts or cheats. The creator pitches it at RPG and boss worlds, Realms and dedicated servers, where high-damage gear outgrows vanilla limits.

What it adds
Every vanilla enchantment gets books with upgraded levels. The enchantments copy vanilla base code under their own IDs and NBT tags, so they also work on modded weapons and tools, including Marketplace packs whose enchanting follows vanilla code. Example caps from the page:
- Sharpness 1 to 50 and Lunge 1 to 50
- Protection 1 to 100, to match high-damage weapons
- Unbreaking 1 to 20
- Looting, Efficiency, Fortune, Fire Aspect and Slow Falling 1 to 10
The books generate in vanilla structure loot, including villages, outposts and addon structures that reuse vanilla loot tables. Expect the most in mineshafts, end cities, mansions and piglin bastions.
How to use the books
- 1.Collect the unenchanted leveled books.
- 2.Craft an activation book.
- 3.Hold the activation book with the plain books in your inventory and leave one or two slots free.
- 4.Watch the reading animation (third person shows it), then apply the enchanted books to gear in an anvil.
Keep plain books if you want to combine them into higher levels later. In Creative, hold a book and run /function ench, or spawn a specific level with a command such as /function sharpness/vi.
Installation
Download both the behavior pack and the resource pack, then switch them on per world. The full release also adds new pillagers, mounts and pets. The E-Books-only release drops those and keeps just the books and necessities. Version 3.8 is the newest, shipped as a .mcaddon.
