Dinosaur Saga is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that builds a full survival loop around seven dinosaurs: tracking with the Spyglass, knockout, taming, breeding and gear crafted from bones and leather. It is Bedrock only and ships as a single .mcaddon. Missions from the Guild Master can be played solo or with other players.

What it adds
- Seven creatures with their own AI, variants and loot: Velociraptor and its Alpha, Megaloceros, Herrerasaurus, Albertosaurus, Tylosaurus Proriger and Tyrannosaurus Rex.
- Three weapon tiers (wood, bone, Albertosaurus), each with six weapon types such as katana, hammer, great sword, dual blades, spear and automatic gun.
- Six armor sets whose abilities stack up to level 4, including a full aquatic kit.
- A cooperative Mission Board with shared progress and split rewards, plus in-game help menus in 17 languages.
Taming and riding
Taming differs per creature. Raptors are tamed passively by dropping raw meat nearby and crouching, and Megaloceros takes apples directly. Herrerasaurus, Tylosaurus Proriger and the Tyrannosaurus Rex need torpor: knock them out, lower their health, then put food in their inventory. All three can be ridden and used in combat. Albertosaurus cannot be tamed at all, so it is a hunt for gear, not a pet.
How to install Dinosaur Saga
- 1.Get DinosaurSaga2.6.mcaddon from the CurseForge page and open it with Bedrock so it imports.
- 2.Create or edit a world and switch on the behavior pack and the resource pack in its settings.
- 3.Load the world and look for creatures in their biomes, such as raptors on beaches and savanna.

How do I tame a Tyrannosaurus Rex in Dinosaur Saga?
Knock it out with torpor first, using tools such as the weakness arrows or the wooden club. Then lower its health and place food in its inventory. Once tamed, it can be ridden and used in combat. The Alpha variant is a giant 2.8x size.
Can Albertosaurus be tamed in Dinosaur Saga?
No. Albertosaurus is a hostile creature that enrages at low health and retreats to its base. It is hunted for loot instead, including bones, leathers, claws, fangs, a skull and a tail.
Does Dinosaur Saga work on Java Edition?
No. It is a Bedrock add-on delivered as a .mcaddon file, and Java Edition cannot load that format. Bedrock players on phones, tablets and Windows can import it by opening the file with the game.
Does Dinosaur Saga need experimental toggles?
No toggles or dependency packs are named for it, and the newest file, DinosaurSaga2.6.mcaddon, requires nothing else. Import the file, then switch on the behavior pack and the resource pack in the world's settings. The creatures then appear in their own biomes.
