Magnificents Mobs+

Magnificents Mobs+ is a Bedrock addon that rewrites how vanilla villagers and golems behave and adds new mobs with a reason to exist. It comes from ALEXYSSSJ4 and The_Absent, runs on Bedrock only, and has been revived after years without updates. If you searched for the magnificent mobs addon, this is the project.

• Minecraft 1.21.60 to 1.21.132.

What it adds

The focus is villages. Villagers get improved behavior and rebalanced trades, and they can be turned into guards and special villagers. The Wandering Trader is removed and replaced by a Villager trader.

• Golems heal with blocks and iron nuggets and wear different skins depending on the biome.
• Special villagers (Beekeeper, Pyrotechnic, Architect, Baker, Carpenter, Miner) spawn naturally in villages. Each works at its own new block, such as the Apiary, Blueprint table, Cooking table or Mining table.
• The Architect creates a large house with four beds the first time it spawns.
• A Miner can be hired with a Contract. It then follows you, places torches and collects items, and switches between a mining mode and a TNT mode.
• The Lost Miner appears in caves and follows you if given a compass. Lead it to a village and it is rewarded and becomes a normal Miner.
• Nitwits become Freighters when given a chest. Hire one with an emerald block for a large inventory that travels with you.

How to install Magnificents Mobs+

1. 1.Open the addon file with Bedrock so it imports. Our install guide covers each device.
2. 2.Create or edit a world and activate the addon in that world's settings.
3. 3.Turn on the two experimental functions in the world settings, then load the world.

Trade-offs

The newest release is labelled beta 4.2 and the description calls it an experimental update that is stable, with details still unfinished. Some planned content was cut at the last minute, including the villager workbench function, some recipes and the cake blocks.
