Simple Waystone is a Bedrock addon that turns long walks into a click. You place and name waystones, then teleport between them across the overworld, the Nether and the End. There is one choice to make first: the Full or the Lite file.
Supported versions
- Minecraft 1.21.100 to 26.30. The newest build optionally uses Advanced Waypoints, Utilities Vein Miner, Builder's Wands, Gravestone - Auto Equip System, Disenchanter Book, Digital Miner, Temporal Bottle - Time in a Bottle and Travel Backpacks.
What it adds
- Waystones in many material variants, from stone, tuff and deepslate to sculk, wool, glass and concrete. Dye repaints the waystone text in one of 16 colors.
- A Warpstone, which is the crafting base for every waystone and also teleports you on its own with a 60 second cooldown.
- A Warpstone Pedestal (3 obsidian, 3 polished andesite, 1 Warpstone). It only travels to existing waystones and cannot register a new point, so it suits a secret room you can leave but not enter.
- A Teleporter Pad that sends anything stepping on it, items and entities included, to the destination stored in a Teleport Shard.
- Two more travel items: the Golden Feather, consumed on use, and the Return Scroll, which loses durability.
How travel and costs work
Placing a waystone opens a screen to name it and mark it public. Public waystones work for other players even if they have not claimed them. Interacting with one claims it, and clicking again lists your private and public waystones, each dimension in its own color.
Distance costs XP. Past 700 blocks you pay one level per 700 blocks, and a jump between dimensions always costs 3 levels. Holding an iron, diamond or netherite block and interacting with a waystone sets a discount of 30%, 50% or 100% for teleports from it. Sneak-click opens settings for favorites, list order, removal and an admin panel that needs the admin tag.
Installation
Pick one file and open it with Bedrock to import it, following the add-on install guide if you are new to packs. Then switch the packs on in your world settings.
The trade-off is the XP bill. Frequent long-range or cross-dimension jumps drain levels fast unless you invest in discount blocks.

How do I install Simple Waystone on Bedrock?
Choose either the Full or the Lite .mcaddon file from the CurseForge page and open it with Bedrock so it imports. Then create or edit a world and activate the behavior and resource packs in the world settings before you load in.
What is the difference between the Full and Lite files?
Both are release 8.3 of the same addon. The Full file supports 256 waystones, while the Lite file supports 16. Pick Lite only if you want a deliberately small limit, otherwise Full gives you far more room.
How much XP does teleporting cost in Simple Waystone?
Waystones further than 700 blocks away cost one level per 700 blocks, and travel between dimensions always costs 3 levels. Setting an iron, diamond or netherite block on a waystone reduces the cost by 30%, 50% or 100%.
Can other players use my waystones?
Yes, if you mark a waystone as public when you place and name it. Other players can then teleport to it without claiming it. Private waystones stay limited to the player who claimed them, so choose carefully for a secret base.
