Nico's Cave Expansion is a Bedrock add-on from NicoTheKid that gives you new reasons to dig. It adds custom caves along with new mobs, blocks, plants, food, ores and equipment. It arrives as a single .mcaddon file and is Bedrock only.

What it adds
The caves are the draw. Mosshroom Caves and Mushroom Caves are among the custom caves it generates. Mobs include the Crystalmite, Glowbird, Moss Mushling, Mossy Skeleton, Myceling and Glowceling. Wild Glowbirds, Mycelings and Glowcelings can destroy crops and Farmland, so keep them away from your fields.
- Tin, zinc, bronze, brass and olivine gear, including custom spears.
- Limestone, marble and soul stone block sets with bricks, stairs and walls.
- A Mosshroom wood set with doors, trapdoors, fences, fence gates, planks, lamps and lanterns.
- Food such as Moss Berry Cookies, which can apply an effect when eaten.
- Local lighting on glowing blocks, plus PBR and Vibrant Visuals support.
- Custom mobs no longer heal by resting, so feeding and healing items matter.
Installation
- 1.Open the .mcaddon file from CurseForge with Minecraft (double-click on Windows, open with Minecraft on phones and tablets).
- 2.Create or edit a world and switch the add-on's packs on in the world settings.
- 3.Load the world and head underground.

Updating and trade-offs
No dependency packs are listed. Support beyond that Realms import fix is not spelled out for dedicated servers.

How do I install Nico's Cave Expansion on Bedrock?
Open the downloaded .mcaddon file with Minecraft, by double-clicking it on Windows or choosing Open with Minecraft on a phone or tablet. Then edit your world and turn on the add-on's behavior and resource packs in the world settings before loading in.
Does Nico's Cave Expansion work on Realms?
Version 1.9.2 changed the add-on's UUID specifically to fix importing issues on Realms. That change also means the add-on may no longer update over older versions.
Can I update Nico's Cave Expansion over an older install?
Not from versions before 1.9.2. That update changed the UUID, so newer files cannot update over older ones. The newest 1.9.6 update also needs Minecraft 26.50 or higher, so older game releases need an earlier file.
