The Epic Knights is a Bedrock addon that turns combat and dress-up toward the medieval period, with 25+ armour sets and 30+ weapon types built from vanilla materials plus steel. It is a port of Magistu's Java mod, expanded by theblackchimera and stevemc_. This Epic Knights addon for Bedrock is Bedrock only, and Java cannot load it.

What it adds
Progression runs on leather, wool and iron. Leather becomes strips for hilts and poles, wool becomes cloth for surcoats, capes and the Gambeson set, and smelted iron yields steel. Steel beats iron on durability at the same attack damage, though diamond still hits harder. Every armour set in the addon is crafted from steel, so you need it early. Samurai items use lacquered iron, a separate material. Netherite still goes through the smithing table.
- Most weapons can block attacks, which changes how melee fights play out.
- The boot slot is reserved for surcoats, capes and other decorative items.
- An Info Book lists recipes, mechanics and the attributes of each armour and weapon. Right click turns pages forward, crouch right click turns them back, left click picks the book up.
Installation
Get the file from the CurseForge page and open it with Minecraft to import it. Then switch the behavior and resource packs on in your world's settings. The install guide for Bedrock addons covers the steps, and if the packs refuse to load, try fixing add-ons that do not work.
Terms of use
The creator asks that the addon is not reuploaded elsewhere and that its assets and models are not reused without permission. Videos should link the CurseForge or MCPEDL page. The trade-off is a heavy, steel-first crafting chain, so expect to mine and smelt before any armour appears.
