Unzip the map file and place the resulting world folder in .minecraft/saves. Launch Java, open Singleplayer, and the world appears in the list. The map has its own resource pack and data pack that complement each other.
Does Misplaced need mods?
No. The map is built to run without mods, using its own resource pack and data pack. Optifine and Sodium are optional extras for players who already use them, and the map works without either.
Can I play Misplaced in multiplayer?
Yes. Multiplayer offers two modes. Versus pits survivors against a monster on each map. Coop lets friends choose between a procedurally generated sandbox and the VHS mode, an improved campaign that supports multiplayer.
