Farming Experience

A relaxed adventure and farming pack that slows progression and expands vanilla with cooking, decoration, new structures and gentler rules. It runs on Fabric and NeoForge and must be installed on both client and server.

Farming Experience is an adventure and farming modpack for Minecraft Java, built by Axperty for Fabric and NeoForge. It deliberately slows progression and builds on what vanilla already has, instead of pushing you down a fixed path. It is needed on both client and server, so multiplayer worlds must install it on both sides.

Loaders and versions

  • Fabric: Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.1.
  • NeoForge: Minecraft 1.21.1.

What's included

The pack leans on cooking, decoration and exploration. Bundled mods include Farmer's Delight, Supplementaries, Overweight Farming, Better Villages, YUNG's Better Structures Collection and Geophilic, among many more. CurseForge featured it in its Food & Farming monthly theme.

How it plays

The aim is a calmer, more immersive run that rewards exploring and building. Several exclusive tweaks soften vanilla's sharper edges:

  • Weapons can always be repaired.
  • Mobs have less health.
  • Untamed cats do not run away.
  • Days last longer.
  • You can throw TNT, and there are multijump and dash enchantments.

Installation and servers

Import the pack through the Modrinth App, or through Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files. The launcher fetches the mods and the right loader. If you are new to this, the modpack install guide covers the steps.

For multiplayer, Axperty offers a Farming Experience server setup tool that configures a server automatically in seconds, at no cost. Every player still needs the pack on their own client.

Questions about Farming Experience.

4 questions

How do I install Farming Experience?

Open the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or another launcher that imports .mrpack files, then add the pack from its Modrinth page. The launcher downloads the listed mods and the matching loader, Fabric or NeoForge. Pick the loader that suits the Minecraft release you want to play.

Does Farming Experience work on multiplayer?

Yes. The pack is tagged for multiplayer and is required on both client and server. Axperty provides a server setup tool that configures everything automatically and is free to use. Each player joining the world must also have the pack installed on their own client.

Is Farming Experience still updated?

The NeoForge releases are the active line, with the latest dated August 2026. Fabric releases stopped in February 2025. Choose NeoForge if you want the most recent changes to the pack.

Is Farming Experience only about farming?

No. It is an adventure pack as well. It adds new structures, items and blocks, and its tweaks slow progression to encourage exploring, building, decorating and cooking alongside crop work.
