The Broken Script Enhanced is a horror modpack for Java on NeoForge, built around The Broken Script mod. It adds small mods that deepen fear and paranoia without changing the mod's theme. It is required on both sides, so the host and every player in a multiplayer session need the pack.

What's included
Netherite ships the mods already configured. The Broken Script is set so it will not crash your play, ban you, explode your base or toggle VHS. Everything else in the mod stays enabled, and you can change any of it in the config. No keybinds conflict.
- Multiplayer: Essential Mod for easy invites, Simple Voice Chat set to your default audio devices, and Sound Physics Remastered.
- Atmosphere: the pack overhauls visuals and ambience, so weather, caves and taking damage feel more frightening. It also includes Cave Dust.
- Performance: Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, Entity Culling, ImmediatelyFast and Dynamic FPS keep the pack light.
- Shaders: BSL Shaders, Complementary Reimagined and Insanity Shader are included but off by default. Switch them on in video settings or with the O key.
- Extras: Xaero's Minimap and World Map, Just Zoom, and the Explorify datapack.
How to install The Broken Script Enhanced
- 1.Open the Modrinth App, Prism Launcher or another launcher that reads .mrpack files.
- 2.Import the pack from its Modrinth page. The launcher fetches the mods and NeoForge for you. The modpack install guide covers each launcher.
- 3.Launch, then invite a friend. Voice chat needs no setup.
