Beautify: Refabricated is an unofficial Fabric port of Beautify, a decoration mod that adds vanilla-styled blocks with custom models. It runs on Fabric and needs to be present on both the host and the player's side. Most blocks do more than sit there: potted one-tall flowers, for example, can be duplicated with bone meal.

Loaders and versions

What it adds

The aim is more detail in builds without replacing imagination. The additions stay close to the vanilla look, so a room reads as an upgraded version of itself rather than a themed pack.

  • Hanging pots with custom flower models and a wide range of supported plants
  • Book stacks in several models, which can power an enchantment table
  • Blinds for windows, or for new kinds of entrances
  • Picture frames covering all 16x16 vanilla painting motifs and more
  • Rope that hanging pots and other blocks attach to, and that players can climb
  • New light sources: bamboo lantern, candelabras and chandeliers, glowessence jar, light bulbs
  • Lattices for putting plants on walls and ceilings

Installation

  1. 1.Set up Fabric for your release by following the Fabric install guide.
  2. 2.Pick the file that matches your release and check the dependency list above, since older files need extra libraries.
  3. 3.Place the mod file and any required libraries in the mods folder, as covered in the general mod guide.
  4. 4.Launch with the Fabric profile. Hosts running a multiplayer world install the same file.

Questions about Beautify: Refabricated.

3 questions

Does Beautify: Refabricated work on NeoForge?

No. This project ships Fabric builds only. The NeoForge counterpart is a separate project called Beautify: ReFoxed, so NeoForge players should install that one instead. Fabric files will not load under another loader.

Do I need Beautify: Refabricated on a multiplayer host?

Yes. Beautify: Refabricated is listed as required on both the player's side and the host's side, so the mod file belongs in the mods folder on both ends. It adds decoration blocks with custom models, such as hanging pots, book stacks and blinds, and most of them carry extra features.

Is Beautify: Refabricated the same as the original Beautify?

It is an unofficial Fabric port of Beautify. The port is MIT licensed and credits the original work, and it keeps the same focus on vanilla-styled decoration blocks.
