What the overlay shows
The overlay is built for quick inspection while playing. Source media shows details such as redstone signal information, horse stats, item storage contents, targeted face and distance, harvestability, mining progress, and item names inside inventories.

Loader and version notes
Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge track current Minecraft releases. The newest builds for all three shipped August 15, 2026, on the 26.1.x line. Forge support is a separate, older branch. Its most recent build, Jade 11.13.3+forge, went out July 21, 2026, for Minecraft 1.20 and 1.20.1 only. Snownee is still maintaining that branch. It just hasn't followed the mod past 1.20.1. Players on a current Minecraft version want the Fabric, Quilt, or NeoForge build. Players still on 1.20.1 are the ones the Forge build serves.

Does Jade need to be installed on the server?
A client-only install can show basic information, but features such as item storage, brewing stand fuel, and beehive contents need Jade available server-side too.
