Creeper Firework is a creeper firework mod for Minecraft Java. It swaps the creeper's destructive blast for a harmless burst that looks like a firework. It runs on Fabric and NeoForge, with older Forge and Quilt builds that have stopped, and it must be installed on both client and server.

- Fabric: Minecraft 1.18.2 to 26.2. The newest build requires Cloth Config API and Fabric API; some builds for 1.20 to 1.21.8 need no dependencies; some builds for 1.18.2 to 1.21.1 require Cloth Config API.

What changes in play
Every explosion colour is randomly generated, and the colour picking imitates the way firework stars are crafted, so no two blasts look quite alike.
Charged creepers get an even more gorgeous explosion effect.
Installation
- 1.Pick the loader you already play on. Fabric players can follow the Fabric setup guide first.
- 2.Place the mod file and any required library files from the list above in the mods folder of your game directory.
- 3.Do the same on the server, since the mod is required on both sides.
- 4.Launch with the loader's profile and watch a creeper go off.
Trade-offs
Because the blast is harmless, creepers lose their usual sting, which some players may not want. The Fabric build for current releases also depends on two libraries, so plan for those extra files.
