Changing the colors
Colors can be changed in-game if both Mod Menu and Cloth Config API are installed alongside it.
Without them, create or edit `.minecraft/config/dark-loading-screen.json` and set the values above. Manual edits show up only after a restart. The config screen is built on shedaniel's Cloth Config, and Minenash suggested the logo coloring.
Installation

- 3.Launch with the Fabric or Quilt profile. The newest build needs no other mods.
- 4.Optionally add Mod Menu and Cloth Config to edit colors in-game.
Questions about Dark Loading Screen.
3 questions
How do I change the colors of Dark Loading Screen?
Install both Mod Menu and Cloth Config API and the colors can be modified in-game. Without those two, edit dark-loading-screen.json in the .minecraft/config folder and restart, since manual changes only become visible after a restart. The file holds hex values for the background, bar, border and logo.
Does Dark Loading Screen need Fabric API?
No. The newest build for both Fabric and Quilt lists no required dependencies. Mod Menu and Cloth Config API are optional extras that only add the in-game color editor. Older builds for 1.14 to 1.16.5 list only Mod Menu as optional.
Can I use Dark Loading Screen on a multiplayer host?
No. The mod is required on the player's machine and unsupported on multiplayer hosts. Install it in the mods folder inside your own .minecraft directory and launch with a Fabric or Quilt profile. It is a player-side mod for Java Edition, so Bedrock Edition cannot load it.
