Let's Do Meadow overhauls the meadow biome for Minecraft Java, splitting it into two new sub-biomes and filling it with farm animals, alpine buildings, and a full cheese-making system. It's part of the Let's Do collection and needs Architectury API and Cloth Config API to load. Fabric and NeoForge builds track the newest updates; Forge and Quilt trail behind on an older Minecraft version.

What Let's Do Meadow adds

  • Two meadow sub-biomes, a plateau and a forest, dense with alpine flowers and vegetation
  • Custom farm animals: Highland Cattle, Umbra Cattle, Water Buffalo, and Warped Cows, each producing a different milk
  • A cheese-making chain: a cheese form presses milk into wheels, racks age them, and a fondue pot melts them down
  • Seven cheese varieties tied to different milk sources, including sheep, goat, buffalo, grain, amethyst, and warped milk
  • Alpine building blocks and furniture, limestone variants, pine wood sets, sofas, and wardrobes
  • A cookpot and cooking frame for recipe-based meals, plus a woodcutter and a felting needle

Installing Let's Do Meadow and its dependencies

Let's Do Meadow needs Architectury API and Cloth Config API to load, both required on every supported loader. Match all three downloads to the same Minecraft version and loader before adding a world.

  1. 1.Install Architectury API for the mod loader in use, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, or Quilt.
  2. 2.Install Cloth Config API for that same loader and Minecraft version.
  3. 3.Download the Let's Do Meadow build matching that loader and version, then load all three together.

Loader and version support

Fabric and NeoForge builds reach Minecraft 1.21.1, last updated in February 2026. Forge stopped at 1.20.1 in April 2025, and Quilt stopped at 1.20.1 in February 2025. Anyone on Forge or Quilt is running an older release with no newer updates.

Questions about Let's Do Meadow.

5 questions

Does Let's Do Meadow work with Forge?

Yes, but the Forge build stops at Minecraft 1.20.1 and hasn't been updated since April 2025. The Fabric and NeoForge builds are the ones still receiving updates, current through 1.21.1.

What do I need installed before Let's Do Meadow?

Architectury API and Cloth Config API, matched to the same mod loader and Minecraft version as the Meadow download itself. Both are required, not optional, and the mod won't load without them.

How does cheese-making work in Let's Do Meadow?

A cheese form presses milk into wheels, which age on cheese racks, get sliced into individual pieces, or melt down in a fondue pot. Seven varieties exist, made from different milk sources including sheep, goat, and buffalo milk.

Can I use Let's Do Meadow on a multiplayer server?

Yes, and it's required there. Both the client and the server need the same build installed, so every connecting player also needs Let's Do Meadow, Architectury API, and Cloth Config API on their end.

Where can I download Let's Do Meadow?

Through its official Modrinth page, which lists every loader build and Minecraft version. Downloading from Modrinth directly avoids third-party mirrors of uncertain origin.
