Let's Do Addon Structures adds six new structures built from Let's Do Meadow and Let's Do Vinery assets, a meadow barn, an illager camp, an illager mine, a meadow pillager outpost, bear dens, and a vinery that sometimes generates with a grape field or an orchard. It changes nothing on its own. Both base mods have to be installed first, or the download has no assets to build with.
What Let's Do Addon Structures adds
- Meadow barn, found in meadow biomes
- Illager camp, located in meadow biomes
- Vinery structure, found in plains, sometimes with a grape field or an orchard
- Illager mine, hidden underground beneath meadow biomes
- Meadow pillager outpost, a meadow variant of the vanilla pillager outpost
- Bear dens, small dens where bears spawn
Two more structures unlock only with extra Let's Do addons installed. Nether vinery ruins appear in crimson and warped forests with Let's Do NetherVinery, and a mangrove hut, a mangrove outpost, and swamp wells appear with Let's Do BloomingNature. Neither addon is required for the default structure set above.
Installing Let's Do Addon Structures and its dependencies
This addon only works alongside its two required base mods. Grab all three from Modrinth, matched to the same loader and Minecraft version, before loading a world.
- 1.Install Let's Do Meadow and Let's Do Vinery first, matched to the same Minecraft version and loader.
- 2.Download the Let's Do Addon Structures build for that same loader, Fabric, Forge, or Quilt, or the standalone data pack build if the world uses no mod loader.
- 3.Copy every file into the mods folder, or the datapacks folder for the standalone build, on the server, and on the client too when playing singleplayer.
- 4.Load into the world. The new structures generate in newly created chunks, so land already explored before installing will not retroactively grow them.
Multiplayer use and version support
Let's Do Addon Structures is required server-side and only needed on the client for singleplayer worlds, so a dedicated server just needs the addon and its two base mods in its own mods folder. The Fabric, Forge, and Quilt builds currently target Minecraft 1.20.1. The standalone data pack build has not been updated past version 1.7.1, one release behind the mod-loader builds at 1.7.2, so check both build numbers rather than assuming feature parity. An older build for 1.19.2 exists from version 1.6.0, but the creator does not promise to keep maintaining it.
Questions about Let's Do Addon Structures.
4 questions
How do I install Let's Do Addon Structures?
Install the required base mods, Let's Do Meadow and Let's Do Vinery, first. Then add the matching Let's Do Addon Structures build, Fabric, Forge, or Quilt, or the standalone data pack build, to the mods or datapacks folder on the server, and on the client too for singleplayer. All files need to match the same Minecraft version.
Does Let's Do Addon Structures require Let's Do Camping?
No. Despite the similar name, Let's Do Camping is a separate mod in the Let's Do series that adds tents, sleeping bags, and backpacks. Let's Do Addon Structures instead requires Let's Do Meadow and Let's Do Vinery, and it builds new structures from their assets.
Does Let's Do Addon Structures work on multiplayer servers?
Yes. The addon is required server-side, so install it and its two base mods in the server's mods folder. Clients only need it when playing singleplayer. On a dedicated server, connecting players do not need the mod installed for world generation to work.
Which Minecraft version does Let's Do Addon Structures support?
The current Fabric, Forge, and Quilt builds target Minecraft 1.20.1. A standalone data pack build exists too, though it sits one release behind at version 1.7.1 versus 1.7.2 for the mod-loader builds. An older build for 1.19.2 exists from version 1.6.0, but the creator does not guarantee it will keep working.
