OrbitalStrike is an orbital strike cannon plugin and Fabric mod by Fairyzz. Rods trigger large destructive attacks, from TNT crater nukes to tunnels straight down to bedrock. It ships as a Fabric mod and as a plugin for Spigot, Paper and Purpur hosts, and features, commands and options may differ between the two.
Loaders and versions
- Fabric: Minecraft 1.21.11 to 26.3. The newest build requires Mod Menu; builds for 1.21.11 need no dependencies.
Strikes and abilities
- Nuke Strike drops 10 rings of TNT plus a centre charge at once. It explodes 2 seconds after impact.
- Stab Strike cuts an instant tunnel to bedrock.
- Dogs Strike summons 50+ tamed wolves with Speed II, Strength II and armor.
- Wither Cannon rains wither skulls for 30 seconds, tracking the nearest player and never the caster.
- Stasis and Totem Stasis are escape tools. The totem version pops and teleports you to coordinates you set.
- Chunk Eater places an armor stand that clears a whole chunk.
Installing the plugin
- 1.Pick the plugin file that matches your host's release.
- 2.Place it in the host's plugins folder.
- 3.Start or restart the host.
- 4.Edit the generated file at plugins/OrbitalStrike/config.yml if you want to change settings.
Commands such as /orbital nuke, /orbital stab and /orbital dogs hand you a rod. /orbital give [player] [type] passes one to someone else. Access runs through the orbital.use permission, and a permission plugin like LuckPerms can control who holds it. The config may cover disabled worlds, cooldowns, rod behaviour and strike mechanics, and the generated file is the authoritative list.

Install Fabric Loader first (our Fabric guide covers it), then drop the mod file into the mods folder and launch with the Fabric profile. The plugin's config instructions do not necessarily apply to the mod.

How do I get an orbital strike rod?
On the plugin, run a command such as /orbital nuke, /orbital stab or /orbital dogs to receive the matching rod. /orbital give [player] [type] hands a rod to another player. Default access depends on the plugin configuration and permission setup, and the plugin uses the orbital.use permission. The Fabric mod may differ, since commands and options are not identical.
Does OrbitalStrike work on Paper and Purpur?
Yes. The plugin is built for Spigot-compatible hosts, and Paper and Purpur builds are listed alongside Spigot and Bukkit. Place the file in the plugins folder and restart. The creator asks for a Discord message or a GitHub issue if a Spigot fork misbehaves.
Is OrbitalStrike a mod or a plugin?
