EnvironmentClient

Resourcify is a Java mod that puts a pack browser inside the pack screen. Press the plus button in the top right and you can search resource packs, data packs and shaders from Modrinth and CurseForge. It runs on Fabric, NeoForge, Quilt and Forge, and it is needed only on the player's own machine.

What Resourcify does

Each listing shows the description, gallery and available releases before you commit. When you find a pack you like, one click installs it. The same mod also handles updates: you can view the available updates and install all of them or just the one you want.

  • Browse resource packs, data packs and shaders from Modrinth and CurseForge.
  • Read descriptions and galleries, then install in one click.
  • Update all packs at once or pick individual ones.
  • Also installs worlds, according to the project readme.

Loaders and dependencies

Ranges differ by loader, and the newest releases have different requirements from older ones. Fabric and Quilt need Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin, with Mod Menu optional on recent releases.

  • Fabric, 1.16 to 26.3, newest release 1.8.6.
  • NeoForge, 1.20 to 26.2, newest release 1.8.6. Needs Kotlin for Forge.
  • Forge, 1.8.9 to 1.21.5, newest release 1.8.6. Releases for 1.16 and up need Kotlin for Forge.
  • Quilt, 1.16 to 1.21.10. Its newest release is 1.6.2, while the Fabric line has moved on to 1.8.6.

Theming

Since 1.7.0, a resource pack can restyle the interface. Replace textures by adding files under assets/resourcify/textures, or recolour the screens with an assets/resourcify/colors.json file. Colours use hex, with two optional extra digits for opacity.

Questions about Resourcify.

5 questions

How do I install Resourcify?

Put the mod file for your loader and Minecraft release into the mods folder, along with its required dependencies. Fabric and Quilt need Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin. NeoForge needs Kotlin for Forge, as do Forge releases for 1.16 and up. Then launch with that loader's profile and open the pack screen.

Does Resourcify work with Fabric, Forge and NeoForge?

Yes. Fabric covers 1.16 to 26.3, NeoForge covers 1.20 to 26.2, and Forge covers 1.8.9 to 1.21.5. Quilt is also supported from 1.16 to 1.21.10, though its newest release trails the Fabric line.

Can I install shaders with Resourcify?

Yes. Besides resource packs and data packs, Resourcify lets you browse and install shaders from Modrinth and CurseForge. It also lists updates for installed resource packs and shaders, so you can refresh them from the same screen.

Does Resourcify work on multiplayer hosts?

No. Resourcify is needed on the player's own machine and is unsupported on dedicated hosts. Install it in your own mods folder if you want the in-menu browser while playing on multiplayer.

Do I need Mod Menu for Resourcify?

No. Mod Menu is optional on recent Fabric and Quilt releases. The required dependencies are Fabric API and Fabric Language Kotlin on Fabric and Quilt, and Kotlin for Forge on NeoForge and on Forge releases for 1.16 and up.
