CrazyEnvoys is a server plugin that drops custom crates with any prize you choose around spawn, so players have to fight over them. It runs on Paper, Folia and Purpur, and it works on the server side only. Spigot builds exist but stopped in January 2023.
Server software and versions
- Folia: Minecraft 1.20.6 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies, optionally FancyHolograms, PlaceholderAPI and DecentHolograms.
- Paper: Minecraft 1.8.8 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies, optionally FancyHolograms, PlaceholderAPI and DecentHolograms.
- Purpur: Minecraft 1.19.3 to 26.2. The newest build needs no dependencies, optionally FancyHolograms, PlaceholderAPI and DecentHolograms.
- Spigot: Minecraft 1.8.8 to 1.16.5, builds stopped after January 2023. The newest build needs no dependencies.
Installation
- 1.Get the file for your Minecraft release from Modrinth or Hangar. The plugin needs Paper at minimum, so plain Spigot is not enough on current releases.
- 2.Put the file in the plugins folder and restart the server. The plugin install guide covers the basics.
- 3.Add tier files to the tiers folder. The existing files there show the format.
- 4.Edit config.yml and messages.yml to suit your spawn.
- 5.Run /crazyenvoys reload, then /crazyenvoys start to launch an envoy.
Configuration
Everything is driven by files. Tier files define the crates and their prizes, config.yml holds the main settings, and messages.yml holds the text players see. The creators maintain a wiki with the full feature list, and support runs through their Discord.
Nothing is required, so a bare install works. FancyHolograms, DecentHolograms and PlaceholderAPI are optional on the newest builds.
Data collection
The plugin sends anonymous usage statistics to bStats, and the results are public. To turn this off, open the bStats folder and set the option to false.

How do I install CrazyEnvoys?
